Eligibility criteria for studying in Germany differ by university, course, and study level, yet common requirements apply to most international students.
1.Undergraduate (Bachelor’s Degree)
- Academic Qualifications: Completion of secondary education (Class 12 or equivalent) with grades meeting course-specific requirements.
- English Language Proficiency: Non-native speakers must submit IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE scores. Minimum scores vary by course and university.
- Entrance Exams: TestAS is required for some undergraduate programs; SAT may also be required in certain universities.
- APS Certificate :Mandatory for Indian students applying to German universities.

Postgraduate (Master’s/PhD Programs)

- Resume/CV : A resume or CV is generally required, detailing academic and professional achievements.
- Entrance Exam : GRE or GMAT may be required for some programs (e.g., MBA, technical courses).
- APS Certificate: Also mandatory for Indian students applying for postgraduate study in Germany.
